Missing Kit…..
We have a number of outstanding items which were not returned at the end of the expedition: 1 map case and 1 compass.
Also outstanding is some personal kit which was supposed to be returned on Tuesday night – We will now have to charge for all those participants that did not bring their kit back on Tuesday night.
A good weekend had by all…….
The Practice is now behind us and from the feedback on Tuesday everybody had a good time. A number of issues were raised on Tuesday night by those in attendance, so if you weren’t there ask your team members what you missed. Kit lists have been submitted for the Qualifying expedition, so if you missed Tuesday night you will be receiving the same kit as for the Practice. There is not a lot of time before the Qualifying expedition, so start thinking about some of the issues that were raised, for example, did you have enough water and food? Was your navigation up to scratch? Did you have the correct personal equipment (hats, gloves e.t.c.)? Did you have the right group kit, e.g. a washing-up kit, matches e.tc.?
